Privacy policy
Updated 10 September 2026
Wriggler is operated by FORT1 PTY LTD (ABN 24 624 594 583). Wriggler helps parents and authorised caregivers record a child’s day. This policy explains how the Wriggler app handles that information. Contact the Wriggler team at hello@wriggler.com.au with privacy questions or requests.
Information you choose to record
An account uses your email address and sign-in credentials. A child’s profile can include a nickname, date of birth, sex and family time zone. Tracking information can include sleep, feeds, nappies, growth, mood, medicine, milestones, bathing, teething and written notes. Caregiver names and who logged an entry help your family understand its shared records.
You choose which activities to record. Please record or share information only when you are authorised to do so. The app is for adults caring for children; children do not need their own login.
Keeping and sharing your records
Wriggler stores tracking records in an encrypted database on your device. Supabase provides account sign-in, cloud storage, synchronisation and backend processing. We use account and family identifiers to put records in the correct family and control access. This information lets Wriggler save, display, synchronise and recover your records.
People invited to a family can see the records their access permits. The owner manages invitations and access. Shared records may remain on an offline device until it reconnects or its access check expires. Copies you export or share outside Wriggler are controlled by you and their recipients.
Optional AI insights
AI insights require a separately saved choice by an authorised parent or guardian using the child’s owner account. A subscription or free preview does not switch AI sharing on. Caregivers can see the family’s choice, and selected caregiver entries are included when AI is enabled.
With that permission, Wriggler sends Anthropic the child’s age and selected structured tracking details and patterns needed for an insight. These may include approximate timing, sleep, feeds, nappies, mood, growth, milestones, bathing and teething. Names, email addresses, written notes, breast-side details and purchase information are left out. We do not describe these records as anonymous: information about a child’s routine can still be personal information.
You can change this choice in Settings → AI insights. Turning it off stops new AI requests once the change is saved; a request already sent may finish. Existing saved insights remain available. Anthropic processes these requests through its commercial API. Its standard policy ordinarily deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days, with exceptions including legal and safety obligations. We do not promise zero retention. Other Premium features remain available when you decline AI.
Subscriptions and Apple
Apple handles App Store payment details. Wriggler does not receive your Apple password or full payment-card details. RevenueCat helps us check subscriptions using an app account identifier, purchase and entitlement information, and related app or device information. This enables purchase, restore, renewal status and shared Premium access. Payment information is not sent to Anthropic.
Deleting the app or your Wriggler account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel renewal through Apple’s subscription settings. Apple separately handles refund requests and its transaction records.
Operation, security and service providers
We keep service, security, synchronisation and error information needed to operate Wriggler and resolve failures. We also record account-linked events such as viewing Premium and completing a purchase, including the screen that led there, to understand the subscription flow. Those events do not contain your child’s tracking entries.
We use service providers to operate the app, rather than selling your child’s records or using them for advertising. Providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States. No storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security. We restrict access and use safeguards appropriate to the information and purpose.
Deletion and retained copies
You can review and request account deletion in Settings after setup. Deleting an owner account removes its owned family content through the deletion process. When a caregiver deletes their account, useful structured entries contributed to another owner’s child remain in that family’s history, while the caregiver’s identity and written notes are removed from those contributions.
Deletion includes cleanup on connected devices and requests to relevant service providers. Offline devices, device backups and exported reports can contain older copies. Managed backups expire through their backup lifecycle rather than having individual rows immediately removed. Provider records may have separate legal, security or retention requirements. We do not promise that every copy disappears immediately.
We retain limited private identifiers, verification hashes and deletion status for as long as supported older clients or backups could otherwise bring deleted information back. This proof does not retain deleted tracking content. Information still needed for an unresolved deletion, billing, security or legal obligation may be kept for that purpose.
Your choices and contact
You can review and correct tracking records, manage invited caregivers, change AI consent and request account deletion through the app. For access, correction, deletion or a privacy complaint that you cannot resolve in the app, contact hello@wriggler.com.au. We may need to verify your authority before providing family information or making changes.
We will update this policy when the service or its data practices change. The date above identifies this version. A materially different AI-sharing purpose requires an appropriate new choice; purchasing Premium does not replace that choice.
